Azure Basics – Beginnings

azure

Lately I neglected blog due other obligations –  my job, speaking at various conferences and doing Azure trainings. Mostly I spoke about Azure IaaS, networking in Azure, extending local Datacenter to the cloud etc.

What caught my attention is that a lot of audience was asking questions about basic Azure IaaS like how do we attach disks, how to create VNet, attach VM to VNet and so on. This gave me an idea to create series of articles about basics in Azure. Series will go on until I run out of ideas what basics should be in here and I will update this post with links to other posts in this series. Posts will be about ARM as ASM is slowly left behind and we are encouraged by Microsoft to do new deployments in ARM.
